Treasure Island characters Wanted posters

Here are wanted posters by Mahira and Ikran and Nat.  They tell you about two characters we meet at the beginning of Treasure Island : Black Dog and a mysterious blind beggar.  Have you seen either of these men?

There's a clue in Nat's poster about where this story begins.  Can you tell?  Leave a comment if you know where the story begins and what the clue in the poster is.
